1. Set the Render Engine to Eevee.
  2. Set Color Management to Standard, not Filmic.
  3. Under Sampling, set Render to 20 and Viewport to 10.
  4. Under Shadows, set Cube Size and Cascade Size to 4096px for best shadow resolution. (If shadows on your models are still jagged, enlarge the models or the entire scene.)

Note: In some cases, Cube Size and Cascade Size set to 64px will give better visual results.

Under Shadows, keep Soft Shadows turned OFF.

  1. Enable Bloom and set its Threshold to 1.5
  2. Enable Ambient Occlusion if you are using the Ambient Occlusion node or shader.
  3. Enable Screen Space Reflections and Refraction if you are using a shader like Glass or Glitter.
  4. Under World Tab, set the Color to black, or the Strength to 0.
  5. If you are using a ‘Sun Light’, I recommend these base settings:

Color = White Strength = 5.0 Angle = 45° Shadow = ON Bias = 5.0 Contact Shadows = OFF
