(Blender 3.4+)
Make sure you have added a Clay Doh asset library. Not sure how? See this.
Make sure that you have an object/ shape selected. Give it a Geometry Nodes modifier and make sure it is selected/ active (blue outline).
Open an Asset Browser window. Click on the drop-down button at the top-left corner and select Clay Doh.
The collection is divided into 3 catalogs. Use the arrow icon to toggle/ expand.
Under the ‘Geometry Nodes’ catalog, you will find Clay Shape GN. Drag-n-drop it onto your Geometry Node Editor window.
Finally, select the node that you just dropped. Right-click on it and select Ungroup.
Now connect the Group Input node to the Mesh/ Vector input of the Clay Shape Node, as shown below.
Mesh/Vector: Make sure that this input is connected to the ‘Geometry’ output of the Group Input node.
Extrude: Controls the “thickness” of the shape.
Crease: Controls how smooth or crisp the edges of the shape are.
(Relative to the ‘Extrude’ thickness)
NOTE: Keep this value as low as possible. Large values will make the geometry heavy.
This value can be thought of as the maximum distance that can exist between any 2 vertices before they merge.
